There any number of effective ways to use technology for ministry. Computer software and a projection system are much easier than maintaining and keeping current numerous hymnals and songbooks. CD's are really handy for those of us who miss a service. the internet is helpful but it's a real pain for those of us who are still using dial up and rather difficult to use if you are listening in the car. Your technology will only be as effectivce as the team of people who are opperating the equipment. Locate the individuals in your church who understand this stuff and let them do the leg work. It helps to have a team so that no one gets stuck doing it all of the time every time. For example, I have other giftings that keep me out of the tech. booth on Sundays but I gladly help with Worship practice or special events.
