Exploring Origins

I am a person. I assume you are, too. How did we get here? Do we have purpose or are we a cosmic twinkle?

I really have to approach this from a theological perspective. And yes, it does assume the existence of the Eternal God. Of all creation, it seems man stands alone in having a rational, willful relationship with his Creator. If I were to start at the beginning, it would look like this:
1. Satan is removed from his favored position of protecting God's holiness and cast into an abyss of darkness - forever separated from the light of God's presence.
2. God in displaying His perfections created a place in the midst of Satan's judgment, and there He made and placed mankind, that is God placed the light of His presence even in the place of judgment.
3. When man chose to submit to Satan, God through redemption continued to display His presence and the covenant relationship He had with His creation.
4. Much confusion about where we came from stems from the age old battle of rejecting God's authority. Romans 1 says God's wrath is on display against all who rebel against the truth revealed even in the creation.
5. If you want verification of God's presence alive and well in a world under judgment, observe a Christian under stress, going through horrible situations, and see the grace of The Redemptive God at work.
The difference between persons who acknowledge the truth, and those who reject the truth going through challenging circumstances is clear evidence of our Creator and His redemption.

I create stained glass windows. They are all mine--my design, my colors, my expert craftsmanship, my time, my emotional content, my sweat, my apprehensions on whether or not it will be successful, and my artistic enjoyment every day hanging in my house window. My ownership of the stained glass window comes from my authorship. This, on a small scale, is what God enjoys on a larger scale, having created each of us. "What a piece of work man is, So infinite in his faculties..."(Shakespeare's Hamlet). Doesn't God own us through His authorship? BUT...
One can NEVER accept or appreciate this perception unless one acknowledges God IS the Creator. If I outlined only a little of what it took to cause a stained glass window to come into existence, how can anyone in their right mind claim all of mankind, the world, the solar system, galaxies, and the universe is an accidental product of some totally improbable theoretical process?
I once saw a movie on the Powers of Ten. It first explained what one encounters beginning with the human body when expanded outward in multiples of ten, into the unlimited outreaches of the universe. The second half of the movie did the reverse in exploring divisions of ten into the unlimited realms of molecules and nano systems. Inward was equally as unlimited as outward, and equally astounding. Was it all accidental?

We all have a divine purpose and destiny. If we seek first the kingdom of God we find hidden treasures and knowledge that those who are ever learning the folly of evolution will never enjoy. This is the Day the Lord hath made. Let us rejoice evermore.
