Dear Julie,
After weeks of intensely escalating rocket attacks from Hamas militants in Gaza, Israel has had enough. Today, Israel assassinated Hamas “Chief of Staff”, Ahmed Al-Jabari, in Gaza in an air strike. This was met with a new wave of attacks from Hamas into southern Israel, with Grad missiles aimed at the most populated southern city, Be’er Sheva. It is unclear at this time if ground troops will be dispatched into Gaza, and what the ultimate aim of this operation is. Please pray for Israel to cry out to her Defender, and that she will cry for Salvation in Yeshua. Please pray that God will grant His wisdom to Israel’s leaders and to the military, and that they will seek Him against all odds. Lastly, please pray for God’s protection over Israel’s soldiers, civilians, and the civilians in Gaza who suffer the consequences of the militants’ actions towards Israel.
