Thanks. I like the thought of Kingdom Insight or keeping the big picture from the Bible's perspective in focus even in the little things. Right now, in Southern Ohio, we are having a heat wave, so we have more than usual AC problems at work. Heaven won't need AC, so even though it is necessary to do our best, something more important is to use the problems to grow our faith and set an example of a cheerful spirit in rough waters.
I am learning to pray without ceasing not only over the problems, but our interaction in the problems. I always say, "I meet a lot of wonderful people, but I meet them at their most inoportune time." Kingdom Insight helps us to keep little things little while focusing on an eternal perspective.
It's amazing how many times the opportunity arises that I can say, "I'll say a prayer."
The Lord has placed us each in a different place to represent Him. Someday soon, we will get to meet and rejoice together with all the people that found Christ from the seeds we planted.
Thanks. All is well. I have been beside working, growing internally on twitter. I first was trying to make my page a motivational quote page. But as I was building a following list, something was wrong inside me.
Positivity without the Lord is a false hope & in times of trouble, sorrow or disappointment as Lori was pointing out we have no answers if we don't know we are just passing through here.
So I changed my tweet approach, lost a lot of followers & listings, but I am trying to give someone that hope that Lori portrayed so well.
I do miss the forums & digging deep for why I know that I know that the Lord has everything under control, no matter how dismal things might look on the surface.
We can cling to " For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end."
So I am trying to learn to share that on twitter in a non pushy way.
If someone was viewing my life on the surface, it would be borrring. It is our mental & spiritual state that is a thrill a moment.
Years ago, I looked for circumstances to create my "Something to look forward to" Friday & Saturday Party Central. While there were momentary thrills, mostly it never lived up to the billing. Hangovers, empty pockets and "OMG what did I do!?"
And I had nothing to offer as I was as stable as a bowl of jello. We have something so much better. "If you forget me, you haven't missed a thing, but let us introduce you to someone who can give you a zest for life and an awesome future."
Thanks Juanita for thinking of me & your prayers. I'll try not to stay away so long as I do really enjoy Kingdom Insight.
Thank you for the invitation, Juanita. I am sorry, but I have not been up to being online for very long at a time. I have, however, tried to follow up with your progress and am impressed with the goals of helping the Body of Christ to realize we must pool the gifts in our communites of churches to see the Gospel brought more effectively to this lost and dying world. Thanks for being true and faithful, Juanita. God bless you as you continue to move forward for the glory of God. And God bless all those who are able to work with you, to effect change for the glory of our King! Blessings.
