Atlanta Church goes above and beyond for Thanksgiving

I saw this article (below) and it made me think about this Thanksgiving and how much I love it. I love seeing churches come together to feed the poor and needy.Thanksgiving is a perfect time to show others the love of God!

This Church in Atlanta is going a step further and is actually donating A WEEKS WORTH of food to families in need! That goes above what most do at Thanksgiving!

ATLANTA (AP) -An Atlanta church is preparing to distribute Thanksgiving dinner and a week's worth of food to those who need it.

The Cascade United Methodist Church's New Advent Choir said they want to help more than 500 families. It would be a record number for their Thanksgiving Food Basket Project.

The food will be handed out Monday. The recipients have already been told of the gift.

The project is funded by members of the church and community.
