Matthew 9:27-30

Jesus Heals the Blind and the Mute

²⁷ As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!”

 ²⁸ When he had gone indoors, the blind men came to him, and he asked them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”

   “Yes, Lord,” they replied.

 ²⁹ Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; ³⁰ and their sight was restored. Jesus warned them sternly, “See that no one knows about this.”

Jesus Raises a Dead Girl and Heals a Sick Woman

¹⁸ While he was saying this, a synagogue leader came and knelt before him and said, “My daughter has just died. But come and put your hand on her, and she will live.”

Jesus is our example when it comes to everything. Jesus is our example when it comes to healing!

This is how Jesus healed people:

He recognized the need, and declared what He saw in Heaven over the person. He spoke and they were healed.

He didnt offer some long drawn out prayer for 30 minutes, He didn't shout, He just spoke.

Jesus spoke what He knew the Father would do! "Go and Be Healed", "Receive your sight", "Pick up your bed and walk", etc.

Never once was there a need for a drawn out prayer! Jesus is our example so we can do what exactly what He did!

When people ask us to pray for them it doesn't necessarily mean we have to use eloquent language and talk to God as though He is far away. Talk to God like He is standing there with you, which He is!

Because of our identity in Christ, we have the same ability to see a persons need, search Heaven for what God wants to do for that person and then bring it to earth.

Prayer (talking to God) is exactly what Jesus did! He just talked to God and spoke the persons healing as though it was already done!

So, when you pray speak the truth over the person! Dont ask God to heal them, speak full healing over them. Dont say, "God if its your will please heal so and so." No! It is ALWAYS Gods Will to heal! Jesus died one time for everything! So, speak healing as though it is manifested until you see it!
