With Easter coming up, here's some Easter outreach ideas for Atlanta churches:
Show "The Passion of the Christ"- This movie is a realistic depiction of the Passion of Christ, what better day to watch this movie than on Easter Sunday. Remember though, there are restrictions on showing movies to the public, so make sure you look into these before showing a movie.
Show Veggie Tales version of Easter to youth- Instead of showing "The Passion of Christ", you could show "An Easter Carol" from the Veggie Tales series.
Plant flowers- Spring is the perfect time to plant flowers, and you could encourage church members to serve your community by planting flowers.
Have an Easter basket drive- Find out people in your church or community who need help providing Easter baskets for their kids and have an Easter basket drive where church members donate candy, toys, Easter videos, etc. to give to families in need on Easter.
