To keep people coming back to your church website, you need to give them a reason to revisit. There are a couple of ways to give people reasons to visit your website again. For one, you could release a weekly church email newsletter, or e-newsletter. Put an e-newsletter sign up form directly on the homepage where people can just type in their email address to opt in. The newsletter can simply contain upcoming events, a link to the most recent audio/video sermon, etc. Put links to your website throughout the e-newsletter to encourage people to visit your website. You might even want to summarize the newsletter in the email and then have a link to the full e-newsletter on your website. Post pictures of events on your church website as well.

A verse of the day is a great way to always make sure your website has new content that people will want to check often. There are website plugins, or bots, which automatically post a verse of the day for you, however a verse chosen by the pastor is more personal and might encourage more church website visits. So, send out a regular e-newsletter, post recent sermons, pictures of events, and a verse of the day to get people to keep visiting your website.
