So, ive been thinking about this subject lately. God calls us to be Holy as He is Holy and to be blameless in Holiness, etc etc. Ive been wondering...doesnt God call us all to the same point of Holiness? No one is called to be less holy or holier than others right? We are all called to be Holy so shouldnt the standards be the same for everyone? I was speaking witha friend about this and said that if God says a movie isnt good for me, as a Christian, to watch isnt it the same for all Christians? Why would God put different standards on each of us if we are all called to teh same level fo holiness? Her response was, "Well, some ppl can handle certain things more than others. Maybe watching violence in a movie gives you nightmares but it doesnt affect me at all". And that just didnt strike me as true. If we are all called to Holiness then if God says something is not ok for one, isnt it not ok for the rest of us?

Well i think that your friend is right god only gives you what you can handle and if this is what he wants from you than thats what he shall give you. I know that it seems unfair or unjust but thats what he does god works in mysterious ways and wants the same life for all of us but its us who chooses the paths that we take....
