This may appear as nothing worth mentioning to some, but to me, being a kindergartener with the Lord, I took it as a wonderful way to start my day and it also further strengthened my faith in God. I had called a company to check on a back order for something I had ordered before Christmas. As I was giving him the information over the phone, this young man was reading it back to me to verify it. One of the letters in the information was g....and when he read it back...he said "G as in God" ! I was so pleased with this young man and told him so! In these days of our pc society, it was refreshing to experience a total stranger making reference to God, even if it was via a coffee backorder! God is EVERYWHERE and I am discovering that every day!!! God Bless you young man!

  • Everytime I come here, I feel so refreshed inside. God is peaking around every corner just waiting to see if I notice! After many years, my eyes are finally being opened and I am beginning to see the real beauty of life and love with God as my saviour. And if that is possible in these frightening times...I can't wait to revel in his gloriousness when we are finally all at peace. How wonderful is that to look forward to? I find myself looking forward to each day now...just to see what little treasure God has in store for me. And...as always...I am so thankful for this site and all the wonderful, loving friends I have met! God Bless!
  • Val what a great post! You may have been a great blessing to this young man! May have refreshed him and encouraged him! I remember years and years ago one place where I worked there was such heaviness and dread in me - I didn't want to be there...one day someone said something about prayer and Jesus and my heart lit up - there was such joy in finding another Christian in that place...since then I had made it a point to somehow let others know I was a Christian wherever I worked...this was at a time that I always spoke of Jesus...I was a newbie so there was much that was new and kept spilling out of my mouth...but that person who also spoke of Jesus made such a difference in my time at that job. We still have the freedom to worship and speak of our Lord and Savior -we must not take that for granted. Thank you for this post!
