As parents its important to share your faith with your children as they grow.

Kids are really visual and using examples that they can watch and see are very important!

Faith Based/Christian Films are a great way to reach your kids.

There are so many Christian movies out there for families and parents would be wise to use them to their advantage when sharing the Gospel with their kids.

How can Parents do this?

1. Use faith based films during your Family Night! After watching the movie of your choice, ask your kids what they learned. Ask if anything stood out to them, what they remember learning/hearing.

After listening to them, spend about 5 or 10 minutes explaining the point of the movie. Explain the message the movie carries and allow your kids time to ask questions.

2. If you know of a really good Christian Kids movie then ask your Sunday School teacher at Church ask if they would be willing to show it to the class.

After church engage your kids in conversation about the movie they watched.

3. As a family, watch a movie for all ages that has a strong message for the little ones and the teens.

Engage your kids in conversation and even allow the big kids to explain lessons to the little kids.

Christian Movies are becoming more and more common in 2011. Movies like The Lamp, the Lion of Judah, Veggie Tales, etc are great movies to share with your children and give you as parents opportunities to teach your children.
