Using graphics in media ministry

You can use graphics in your media ministry to leave a lasting impact on people. Here are some ways your church can use graphics:

Your ministry logo- If you don't have a ministry logo yet, consider designing one or having one designed. A logo helps people identify your ministry and adds a level of professionalism to your ministry. You can display your logo on your CDs/DVDs themselves, in slideshow presentations, in the corner of the screen on media ministry DVDs, etc.

Christian symbols/imagery- Many Christian symbols and imagery have powerful meaning behind them. The cross itself has a deep meaning for Christians, as does a cross with Jesus on it which symbolizes Christ's sacrifice to us. You can use Christian symbols and imagery on your CDs/DVDs and cassette tapes, on printed materials, etc.

Technology graphics- Does your church have a website with ministry-related content on it? If so, you may want to consider putting media-related graphics on your ministry pages, such as a video icon, a pair of headphones, etc. as this lets people know they can watch/hear your messages.

Backdrop graphics- You can use eye-catching backdrop graphics in slideshow presentations, in video interviews, etc. Some examples of backdrop graphics include a sunset, a waterfall, Christian symbols and imagery, etc. In general, backdrop graphics should relate in some way to the message in the slideshow/video. For example, if someone is talking about the peace of God, you might have a peaceful sunrise in the background.
