Who am I?
I am Your constant companion.
I am your greatest helper or your heaviest burden. Who am I?
I am the servant of all great men; and alas the failures as well. Those who are great, I have made great. Those who are failures I have made failures.
I am not a machine, though I work with the precision of a machine plus the intelligence of a man.
You may run me for a profit or run me for ruin-----it makes know difference to me.
Take me, train me be firm with me, and I will place the world at you feet. Be easy with me and I will destroy you.
Who am I?
I am a habit.

Let me work harder to get this servant in line. How many a choice has been influenced by a habit?... Good or Bad...
No wonder as followers of Christ we are called disciples... DISCIPLINED ONES. iT TAKES DISCIPLINE TO TRAIN HABIT AND TO BE FIRM WITH IT. But without discipline we will be easy with habit and it could just as well destroy us.
Thanks.
Great food for thought...
Great comment. Yes! 'Discipline' is the core of being a 'disciple'.

A habit is surrendering to a specific action (deed, task, idea, thought) so often that the action occurs without conscious effort.
Surrender to good habits.
Surrender bad habits to Christ. Often times, we're not strong enough to overcome them ourselves.
If you are not sure which the habit is (good or bad), list as bad and surrender appropriately.
