Why Jesus? Why not Allah, Mohammad or Buddha?
For me the answer is easy. I would rather serve a God who rules and reigns in LOVE rather than FEAR and DEATH.
Most Muslims I have talked to say that Islam is a religion based on fear. Why would you willingly want to be part of that? I am not here to bash Islam but express my feelings on why Jesus is the WAY for me. I would not want to be part of a religion where FEAR reigns.
If you read the Bible you see so much LOVE. Jesus heals people, performs miracles and whats really awesome is that demons listen to Him! No other “god” has control over making demons come out of people! Crazy!
Ultimately, my relationship with Jesus comes down to His death on the Cross. The ultimate act of LOVE. Willingness to serve the world and save all by allowing HIMSELF to take the punishment of our sin. What other “god” would even consider doing that? None. Thats how many.
Jesus has made Himself real to me so many times, over and over. I have sensed His presence, seen Him doing amazing miracles and seen His hand on the lives of many.
I have no doubt in my mind that Jesus is who He says He is/was. There are so many times I have seen things done that can only be credited to Jesus.
Plus, theres an entire book written about Him from first hand sources. This book is so full of how amazing Jesus was I cant even deny He is who He says He is. He just IS.
There is no other religion in the world based on LOVE. No other religion that ever had someone come to earth and DIE for the whole world.
So, this is my answer to Why Jesus? This is my own personal thoughts and am not going to get into a raging argument with atheists or other religions about why I believe what I believe.
