Thank You, Lord, for placing the desire of our heart to serve You within us. Please bless the missions group from my church as they get ready to leave for the Dominican Republic. Bless each one and their families during this time. May Your word go forth, both verbally and in deed.
In Jesus' name, amen.
Thank You for Jesus and thank You for the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Thank You, Jesus, for Your gift of sacrifice...Your life, Your blood, Your breath on the Cross...atoning for my sin and the sin of the world, that mankind might be reconciled to God and have fellowship everlasting.
Thank You, Jesus, for descending into the depths of the earth and taking captivity captive. And thank You for ascending to the Father, to sit at His right hand forever more.
For because of Your ascension is the Holy Spirit now given us, those who believe in You and have declared You to be their Savior and Lord.
Thank You, Holy Spirit, for Your ministry in believers. Thank You for all that You do in helping us, comforting us, leading us to live life everlasting. Thank You for Your gifts to us.
Lord God, with the blood of Jesus covering me and with the anointing of holy oil, consecrated for Your purposes, I proclaim this blog page for Your kingdom purposes. I proclaim this space, covered in the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Father God, Your word says that You go before us and behind us...that You are everywhere present, all knowing, all seeing...I pray for Your protection in this place and on the entire world wide web.
Your word says that we are blessed going in and blessed going out...that You direct the steps of a righteous man.
My righteousness does not emanate from myself, but is from what Jesus did on the cross.
I dress myself in the whole armor of God...the helmet of salvation; the belt of truth; the breastplate of righteousness...I put on the shoes of preparation of the gospel of peace...I pick up the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit...and I pray.
Blessed be Your name, Lord Jesus.
Prepare me now, Lord, please, to open this room. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to You.
Your word says that the battle belongs to You...so I ask You to wage the battle for me.
In Jesus' precious and holy name,

Psalm 90-91 (King James Version)
1Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
2Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
3Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.
4For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.
5Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.
6In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.
7For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.
8Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.
9For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
10The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
11Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
12So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
13Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.
14O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
16Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.
17And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.
1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
