For @m_mcaulay
I am watching before my very eyes a battle being fought surrounding a 16 year old girl, Madeleine McAulay.
As you are reading this, you may be thinking I am talking about the struggle between the progressive ‘trolls’ as they are commonly being called, and the innocence of a young girl boldy proclaiming her voice, standing up for Godly principles. Or, if you are of a different political persuasion, I might be describing the battle between decency and common sense and the bigotry of a naïve, ignorant girl who does not understand the hate she is spewing.
But I am not describing either battle, I am describing a battle in the girl herself, and I see it unfolding here, live, on Twitter. The buzz built around this girl as she was featured on a local Fox news station after her bold youtube video where she proclaimed against the right of homosexuals to marry.
But more, she proclaimed herself to be a ‘Christian Conservative’, marked herself as being separate, distinct from the typical political operative, proclaiming her guiding light in Christ.
The buzz built.
The ‘trolls’ came out to silence this Christian voice. The very work of their assaults served to lift this girl up further, not tear her down, not silence her.
The buzz built.
I came upon this buzz by accident. I discovered a college-age girl on Twitter who had just recently had an article accepted by our local newspaper. I noticed she was a Sarah Palin supporter and thought she might like to get in contact with someone I knew who knew Madeleine.
I soon discovered the girl I was trying to connect was already a member of Team Sarah and already connected to Madeleine.
In this effort to connect, I stumbled upon something rarely seen up close, the stepping out for the first time on a world stage by a new voice, Madeleine McAuley. I saw her, through Twitter, preparing for that step, an appearance on Fox and Friends, a 3 minute spot. The mere fact that she was going to appear on Fox and Friends further amped up the progressive ‘trolls’.
The buzz built.
Then, the comment heard round the world- at least it might be for Madeleine, the comment that may have brought together the perfect narrative for a conservative movement desperate for martyrs, for courageous ‘victims’ to combat the parade of courageous ‘victims’ the progressives have to offer, the anti-Sandra Fluke, if you will.
The buzz built.
The comment flew.
Paraphrasing here, the comment went something like this……”I hope a gang of homosexuals track you down and kill you”. This comment, from a vulgarly named anonymous commenter, added meat to the upcoming 3 minute segment on Fox and Friends. What was scheduled to be a piece on a girl getting a bit of hate from the left for her Pro-Marriage statement was now taking on a whole new narrative, the innocent standing in the face of pure evil.
The buzz built.
Our Anti-Sandra Fluke prepared herself for the battle ahead, being a Breitbart, as she would even later say, the day of the actual 3 minute interview (after the interview had taken place), and making visible all the attacks the left was throwing at her, even retweeting the worse of the attacks on Twitter.
I watched this stream and I knew I was watching something very rare for any of us to see, the fundamental turning point in a person’s life where the choices they make, the actions they take will direct their path to come. And I saw the advisors swooping in, the politicos, all, it seemed to me, wanting a piece of the glory, or to own the glory to come from this emerging voice.
The buzz built.
Our Anti-Sandra Fluke made her appearance and had a 3 minute interview on Fox and Friends. The interview itself was lacking in substance, save for the poise of a 16 year old girl who spoke like a professional woman on top of her game. Steve Ducy, the interviewer, had little of substance to ask this girl, and she did her best to interject some substance into the dialogue, but the interview’s substance, the questions, even the answers, did not matter as much as the mere poise of a girl, now expected to wilt under the ‘death threat’ as the comment heard round the world would soon be referred to (and still is).
The buzz built.
Mediate carried a story on her- the progressive trolls came out. Our Anti-Sandra Fluke manned her Twitter account and faithfully followed the Breitbart school of politics, retweeting the attacks, making the left’s smears and damning tactics visible to the world.
The buzz built.
Female conservative celebrities rushed to tweet their approval of Madeleine, welcoming to their elite club of smart ladies, mostly comprised of center-right women, not a one centered in Christ, not a one proclaiming His name first and foremost in their daily talking heads assignments.
The buzz is still building.
This is where the battle is coming now, not between a progressive troll who crossed a line (but did not actually deliver a death threat) and the Anti-Sandra Fluke, but between the flesh and spirit of Madeleine McAuley, between her God, which is my God, and the world who wants her for their own.
Madeleine is called by God, not SE Cupp, not Michelle Malkin, not any other would be Messiah or protector. Madeleine’s battles are fought by God, not Fox Nation, not Glenn Beck, no one else.
There is a choice that is coming for this young girl, that choice will be not between progressive hate and conservative values, but between Godly Faith and brokenness or conservative godlessness, between following God’s command to submit to His way or the conservatives’ calls to cut through walls, to march through the enemy with righteous hate, cutting down and destroying where God would have her love.
I am moved by the Holy Spirit to say this girl needs our prayers, that she be led to the broken place, the bended knee before the King, that she be overwhelmed with His awe, which dwarfs the promise of the earthly kings and queens who will proffer her gifts and ‘love’. Our girl is no Anti-Sandra Fluke, she is a child of God, whom he has seen fit to raise up, to give her voice to speak not for Michelle Malkin, not for Andrew Breitbart, but for Christ, to love in 1 Cor 13, to be led, broken in anguish for the lost nation, and to be a voice to call this nation to repent.
She need not ever see this post. She needs only to experience the fruit of our submission to God in prayer, to be in anguish for this girl, to pray, in God’s love, for this girl to experience Christ here and now, to be confronted with his awe so she can resist the temptation of the world and its noble ‘conservatives’ who know not Christ, who know politics and practice the same tactics as the demons they suppose they are resisting.
Amen

J M J . PRAY 4 R NATION . !
THANK YOU ! :o))
sis, send her that message- and please join us in prayer for her that God lifts her up to His purpose- share this prayer with the body you are connected to in your life
When darkness comes in like a flood, God raises a standard! Words of truth from the lips of a young woman can confound the 'wisdom' of this world, especially of the functionally godless - those who acknowledge God but deny him with their lives!
Praise God for the opportunity Madeleine has had to speak for righteousness - standing strong for marriage as the union between a man and a woman that, in time produces the fruit of the next generation.
Madeleine, my prayers are for you - that God would enlarge your territory and keep you in his safety!
2 Samuel 22:
31 “As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him.
32 For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God?
33 It is God who arms me with strength[h]
and keeps my way secure.
34 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer;
he causes me to stand on the heights.
35 He trains my hands for battle;
my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
36 You make your saving help my shield;
your help has made[i] me great.
37 You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way.

Isaiah 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. - God will raise up the youth in His truth to confound the wise and learned adults and bring this nation to a choice of repentence or judgment- We are the ensign, the standard, we who live, learn, teach, witness, extend the kingdom of God
