I think that is wonderful! I have been to those type of celebrations before and I love it. It makes it so easy to connect to the last supper. I try to pray daily for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem. But that day, it took on new meaning for me. I also pray daily for my children and I know how deeply I love them. It became real to me when I heard God refer to Israel as His kids.

I want to give you a warm welcome to the sight! I think it's interesting that you mentioned Israel. The other day I was spending some time with the Lord and I sensed Him asking me, "Would you please pray for My kids?" I know that all Christians are His precious kids, but I specifically felt He meant that He wanted me to pray for Israel. It would be awesome to get to minister there. I would love to hear how God started your ministry. There is a discussion about that under the general discussions. I pray that you will really be blessed of God on this sight and that God will use you to bless many others here.
